The Au Sable longbow, aptly named after the famous Au Sable River in Michigan, was introduced in 2011. It has been well received by longbow enthusiasts due to its hybrid design. The limbs with a core of maple and bamboo make this bow smooth, quiet, and fast. The two-piece riser is crafted from exotic wood and features a matching decorative stripe. The Au Sable limbs are built with 3 layers. The central core is made of maple, overlaid with 2 layers of bamboo and high-strength fiberglass, creating a smooth shot and making the bow a powerful one.
