For these targets, a compression machine was developed to force the layered foam sections together throughout the entire assembly process.

This “preload” puts tension on the targets, making the foam layers much more durable in use.

Each target is pre-compressed to a minimum of 2000 kg (depending on size) and kept under tension with Kevlar-reinforced straps.

We can recommend these targets for any type of bow, but as with all laminated foam targets, care must be taken if the target becomes weakened with use (use a backstop net, etc.).
