The Heat® Vane, with its low profile and silent flight, is ideal for bowhunting and 3D archery, and is NASP approved.

It quickly became popular for indoor spaces and also for crossbow arrows.

Its low profile provides more clearance for the string, and the ultra-rigid material the Heat Vane is made from prevents vane flutter for smooth arrow rotation.

When used with a fixed blade tip, we recommend using four vanes.

The Heat Vane measures 2.5″ (63.5 mm) in length, 0.41″ (10.4 mm) in height, and weighs an average of 6.0 grains (388.8 mg).Like all Bohning vanes, the base of the Heat Vane is pre-primed for optimal adhesion. Due to the ultra-rigid material, we recommend using instant glue and/or a fletching jig with a strong adhesion force, such as Bohning’s Tower Jig or Multi-Fletcher.
